Fundraising Information
Our organization is thirty-six years old and is primarily volunteer driven involving some 300 volunteers who serve in various capacities throughout the year. Our organization has a support staff of two part-time people. Our Executive Director serves as a volunteer and receives no financial compensation for his services. In fact only 10% of our operating budget is committed to salary and wages. Our organization has no costs for office rental; the space is donated to the organization. Therefore, our administrative costs are minimal and the return to the youth of our community is maximized. A very positive statement in community programming and fund raising these days. The balance of our budget is committed solely to producing youth events, providing scholarships, recognition awards, and educational programming. We depend heavily on donations from companies and individuals. As costs continue to rise each year the need is always great.
Youth Focus Inc. is a non-profit corporation incorporated in the State of California and is recognized by both the State and Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt 501 (c) 3 organization. Your donation is totally tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.
